We got paid today so we”re both in a really good mood. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for two of our co-workers who have fallen victim to a thief. Sometime yesterday afternoon someone managed to get past security and gained access to the teachers” office block.

The crook managed to get away with a rather large sum of cash and a mobile phone. Some students saw a ‘’strange women” walking about campus but, since she’’s now long gone, it’’s unlikely the money and phone will be retrieved.

On a happier note, the weather is really cooling down now. We”ve gone from baking heat to an icy wind in the space of a week. We”re not complaining though, being from England we”re more used to dealing with the cold. This Saturday we are thinking we will probably go to Hangzhou - the ancient capital of China. According to our guide it’’s one of the most beautiful cities the country has to offer and, best of all, it’’s right next door to Jiaxing.
