I found out yesterday that the school is holding an open day on Friday (tomorrow). Parents and teachers from other schools have been invited to wonder around the school and check out the various teaching techniques that the school employs. I have also been informed that there is a good chance that I will have an audience during my class on Friday, and that I should, gulp, “make sure it’’s a good lesson”. Although the prospect of being ”evaluated” for 40 minutes is slightly scary, it wouldn”t bother me that much if it were not for the fact that the lesson just happens to be with our naughtiest class. That’’s right, out of the 32 classes we teach, we end up with this one… great. I”m just hoping they are going to be well behaved given that their parents might be in the room.
